Apple TV 4.1 Coming Out Today

Along with the release of iOS 4.2 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Apple will also push the much waited iOS 4.1 for Apple TV 2G, according to MacWorld.
VoiceOver not only reads the name of the menu item you’re on, but it does a good job of reading metadata, including episode descriptions of TV shows. Apple TV 4.1 Coming Out Today

According to the source, the 4.1 update introduces AirPlay for video support (i.e. users will be able to stream video from any iOS device or Mac running iTunes 10 to an Apple TV on a local network). The new version also adds VoiceOver spoken menus:
