It's probably no surprise that the vast number of subtle processes and graphics that make iOS so pretty are resource intensive. The Cydia tweak, TidySpring enables you to 'clean up' your springboard by switching off these features that unnecessarily consume resources.


TidySpring is available via BigBoss repo. Upon the completion of the installation, go to your device's "System Preferences" to toggle a spectrum of features. After changing the settings, your device will reset in order apply the newchanges.

By turning off some of these elements, you'll save a lot of memory, RAM, and processing power. The springboard won't look as polished, but it could be considerably quicker to load. And since you're letting your phone take it easy, you'll be thanked by an increase in battery life!

The app is being sold for $0.99, a price well worth paying; especially if you equipped with a 3GS. We've seen most of these features before but this is the only app that lets you manage all of them in one place.
