Cydia For Mac OS X To Be Released Soon!

You’ve of course heard about the Mac OS X version of Cydia which was announced by Saurik (Cydia founder) couple of months ago but suddenly we stopped hearing any news about it. Saurik had already created a special version of MobileSubstrate called CydiaSubstrate that was compatible with both iOS and Mac OS X operating systems.

Since that update on CydiaSubstrate, however, everything seemed to go quite. Today here comes some information from iPhone developer Chpwn who left a small status about Cydia for Mac OS X.
Chpwn wrote on his blog that once CydiaSubstrate was finished for the Mac OS X, he would integrate the Maximizer tweak (he developed a little while ago) into CydiaSubstrate.
Hopefully soon, I’ll be able to move Maximizer over to CydiaSubstrate, which will fix a number of issues. I’m not sure what the status is of CydiaSubstrate on the Mac (and Lion), but once it is available I’ll update Maximizer to use it
This words from Chpwn may be hinting at a soon release of a Mac OS X version of Cydia. It indicates that Cydia for Mac OS X is almost finished and is still being worked on.
We hope it comes very soon!
