Apple today released a new version of iTunes 10.5 beta for developers. iTunes 10.5 beta 8 is now available for all members enrolled in Apple’s developer program. This update brings better support for iTunes Music Match service. iTunes 10.5 beta 8 is available for Mac users only.

iTunes 10.5 beta 8 brings several bug fixes and performance updates for subscribers using iTunes Match beta. It also brings the ability to back up to iCloud from inside of iTunes.

iTunes 10.5 beta 7 was released few days ago to bring support for iOS 5 beta 7. iTunes 10.5 beta 8 should have come with iOS 5 beta 8 but we can’t see it (not yet). We’ll come back if iOS 5 beta 8 comes.
- Songs in unsupported formats will not be uploaded to iCloud at this time.
- The scan & match feature is not yet complete.
- Some songs may not match (even if they is available in the iTunes Store) and will be uploaded to iCloud.
- Other songs may match to a different version of the same song on the iTunes Store.
- You can only add music to iCloud from more than one computer at a time.
- After updating to iOS 5 beta 7, your music may fail to play. If this happens, turn of
