It has been a while since any hacker talked about the much-waited iPhone 4 unlock. MuscleNerd of the iPhone Dev Team with Sherif Hashim’s work did a great progress since few months but suddenly everything stopped. We didn’t hear anything from them since that while.

Most of you may know the popular iPhone hacker who found iOS 4.1 untethered exploit a while ago and merged it in GreenPois0n. Pod2g, that hacker, is back now with a new status about the iPhone 4 unlock on basebands higher than 1.59.00, the latest unlocked baseband.

He said that MuscleNerd should move should write some papers about baseband exploiting so that others can continue on it since he can’t do it as he’s busy in jailbreaking iOS devices and finding untethered exploits. Take a look in their timeline below:

Actually, most of those who are stuck on a higher baseband and can’t unlock their iPhone 4, has used the most known solution for unlocking iPhones, GEVEY SIM.
