Well well well.. one of our readers has sent us an e-mail telling us that today is Geohot’s 22nd birthday. George Hotz, better known as Geohot, was born on October 2nd 1989 and he is known as the father of jailbreak. Geohot was the first to unlock and jailbreak the iPhone back in 2007. Everybody in the jailbreak community is really missing Geohot and wishes if he’s here with us.

Geohot left the jailbreak community last year because he missed the reaction of people and realized that most of people don’t care unless they are getting something.

After his withdrawal from the jailbreak scene, he surprised us with Limera1n jailbreak tool which he announced through his official website.

Shortly after Limera1n, Geohot surprised the community again with PS3 jailbreak which led him to problems with Sony. Since ever the day he jailbroke the PS3, the war started between Geohot and Sony.. and finally the case was settled.

We, really, wish if Geohot was here to help out thousands of people to jailbreak their devices. Most people think that he might release a jailbreak once iPhone 5 and iOS 5 are released on Tuesday.
