Control Your Car With Siri [VIDEO]

It seems that the Siri’s capabilities are endless. Two days ago, we were talking about hacker plamoni who created a proxy server which can be publicly used to control non-Apple devices. Plamoni able to control a Wi-Fi capable thermostat using custom Siri commands.

Today, we have another interesting discovery made by a hacker known as Brandon in which he hooked up Siri to his Viper car remote allowing him to use voice commands to start, stop, lock and unlock his car.
Brandon explained how everything works:
The “Siri Proxy” plugin I wrote handles interaction with a php script that runs on my web server. The php script, which I developed months ago for personal use, allows me to send commands to my car which has a Viper SmartStart module installed.
Current commands accepted are: “Vehicle Arm”, “Vehicle Disarm”, “Vehicle Start”, “Vehicle Stop”, “Vehicle Pop Trunk”, and “Vehicle Panic”.
Check out the video showing it in action:

Those discoveries are great, but what we know would be much greater is hearing that Siri wasported to older iOS devices in a way that can be made public.
